New patient appointments
New patients: Dr Schloeffel is only taking on new patients under the age of 25 years. Those prospective new patients are required to write a brief, one page letter outlining why they would like to see Dr Schloeffel, including two contact telephone number and date of birth. Upon receipt of this letter, Dr Schloeffel will advise whether he is able to assist, and when an appointment would be available. The waiting period for new patients is approximately four months due to the busy nature of his practice. No appointments are booked for new patients before the receipt of a letter.
The initial appointment is for one hour and the fee is $500.
Please allow extra time in case your appointment runs longer or the doctor is running late.
Current patient appointments
Current patients requiring on going treatment need to book three months in advance. If a particular time or day is preferred, it is wise to book several months before.
Subsequent visits are $200
Hours
Dr Schloeffel’s hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm

More information about Richard
Dr Richard Schloeffel graduated from the University of NSW in 1978 and continued his training in Sydney hospitals before working in an isolated rural general practice in Bellingen, NSW. Here he had extensive experience in all aspects of medicine, surgery and obstetrics. He became particularly interested in acupuncture and homoeopathy and furthered his studies in China and The Royal Homoeopathic Hospital in London, UK.
Dr Schloeffel has integrated his broad experiences to bring an holistic approach to health care using lifestyle management with traditional and complementary therapies.
