Dr Narelle Savage studied medicine, and completed a research degree in paediatric and educational/behavioural health, at the University of Newcastle (1997, 1999). She has been studying Anthroposophic medicine since 1989.

Dr Savage was a teacher at a Waldorf school (Rudolf Steiner) previously, studying Waldorf education at Taruna College (New Zealand, 1987). She has a special interest in Therapeutic Eurythmy.

Dr Savage is continuing studying in Anthroposophic medicine, Therapeutic Eurythmy, Dramatherapy, Homeopathy (Dip. Hom. – completed 1996), Herbal medicine, Acupuncture, children’s behavioural and educational medicine, Bodywork therapy (EMMET), mental and emotional health, and women’s health.

Dr Savage has also completed a Diploma in Eastern therapies (Shiatsu, Zen Shiatsu, Macrobiotics, Zen Yoga therapy, 1985).

She has long had a special interest and involvement in spiritual development and the health and education of disadvantaged communities
